TowerDefend 1.1.0 has been released. Here are the details.
Bugs
- Fixed crash bug due to too much memory use.
- Audio mute setting is now saved.
- Creeps movements don't look jerky any more.
- Screen won't dim any more.
Optimizations
- Game speed runs smoother with lots of action.
- Starting load times significantly faster.
Functionality
- Resume game after quitting.
- Automatic saving every round
- You can now pick the number of rounds to play, i.e. 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50.
- No round limit mode, i.e. you can play forever (if you can last!).
- End game screen has more statistics and scoring calculations.
Gameplay - Creeps
- Creep strength on easy is even easier.
- Creep strength on hard is even harder.
- Slightly more credits per creep kill.
- New creep (Boss 2)
Gameplay - Towers
- "Laser Missile Tower" has changed to "Reflective Laser Tower" which only shoots lasers.
- "Area Effect Cold Tower" now stuns the creep it hits directly for a short time. It is mentioned in the tower description but wasn't actually stunning.
- Projectiles now change target when creep dies.
- Projectiles now accelerate (to catch up to creeps)
- Tower ranges are tweaked so each tower "tier" has the same radius.
- Virus towers are stronger
- Many other minor tweaks to tower strengths and firing rates.
Graphics
- Menus look better.
- Build tower screen looks better.
- Projectiles look slightly better.
- Several other graphics tweaks.

- Sound now is played based on where you're looking on the map.
- Sound also plays in stereo depending if you're left or right of the object making the sound.

TowerDefend v1.1.0 Submitted
I have submitted TowerDefend v1.1.0 to the App Store. It turns out that about 90% of the time for this version was spent optimising and balancing the game. Hopefully the crashing problem some of you have should be completely fixed, otherwise the auto-save should be useful.

Currently working on the next version of TowerDefend. There are lots of changes. I'll mention the most requested and important changes...
- Crashing has been fixed which was caused by using too much memory.
- You can now resume a previous game after you quit.
- Missiles now change target when the creep dies.
- Missiles are faster and they accelerate to catch up to the Fast Creeps.
That is just a small sample of changes and I plan to submit it to the App Store under a week.

TowerDefend v1.0.0 Released!

After about 2 weeks, Apple has approved TowerDefend to be on the App Store. The initial features are:
- 5 creeps
- 4 levels
- 12 tower types in these categories: cold, heat, laser, virus
- Finger scrolling and pinch zooming

After a week of strenuous balancing and testing, I have finally submitted TowerDefend 1.0 to the App Store.
